Ryder is a dynamic combo guard with an electric style of play that jumps off the court. He brings a powerful mix of skill, tenacity, and pure fire to every game. Whether he’s threading the needle with crafty passes, crashing the boards with relentless energy, or lighting up defenders from all three levels, Ryder is a nightmare to guard. His explosive scoring ability keeps defenses scrambling, but it’s his unshakable will to win that sets him apart. When the game is on the line, he refuses to back down, competing at all costs with a fearless edge that fuels his squad.
This past season, Ryder's biggest improvement was his mentality, stepping up when his team needed him most. With key players gone, he embraced the challenge and worked relentlessly in the offseason to elevate his game. His ability to see the floor and attack the glass was crucial, but his the growth in his leadership and mindset was clearly seen. Now, Ryder is locked in on elevating his defensive game, knowing that to dominate against elite competition, he must become an absolute force on both ends. With a strong AAU season ahead, his sights are set on picking up offers, proving himself against top-tier talent, and continuing to evolve his game.
Ryder will be playing for Team Loaded VA 3SSB. He is ready to make a statement on the circuit with the goal to win big, showcase his complete skill set, and leave no doubt about his ability to compete at the highest level. With a loaded squad around him, Ryder believes a 3SSB championship is well within reach. The upcoming tournaments in Florida have him fired up, and he’s embracing every opportunity to show coaches why he belongs in the conversation with the best.
Off the court, Ryder thrives in the bonds he’s built with his teammates. This past season taught him the true meaning of brotherhood, playing for each other, lifting each other up, and celebrating each other’s success. That connection is what fuels him. When facing adversity Ryder leans on his faith, trusts his teammates, and stays locked in on the bigger picture. Nothing rattles him when he knows he has a team that’s got his back. And when his squad gets rolling, forcing the other team to burn a timeout after a big run, that’s when he’s at his absolute best. Fired up, locked in, and ready to take over.
The best advice Ryder has ever received is, “No matter what, you’ve got to compete.” That’s exactly what he does every single time he steps on the court.
I assess that Ryder has the skill set and mentality to make a significant impact at the next level. His ability to score at all three levels, combined with his court vision and rebounding from the guard position, makes him a versatile weapon for any college program. Ryder's growing defensive focus will only strengthen his game, allowing him to be a true two-way player who can change the momentum of a game. Coaches will love his toughness, his relentless drive to win, and his willingness to do whatever it takes to elevate his team.
With another offseason of development, Ryder’s game is set to reach new heights as he locks in on his defensive growth and continues to expand his playmaking. He’ll be a dominant force heading into his junior and senior seasons. His ability to rise in big moments and his fierce competitive nature will only add to his rising stock. Expect him to turn heads on the AAU circuit, gain traction with college programs, and validate himself as one of the most electrifying guards in his class. The next level is calling, and Ryder is ready to answer. Stay tuned.
