"Built to Disrupt: Elevating the Game with Power, Precision, and Passion"

Kendrick Cherry

6'3, 175lbs, Class of 2028

Summit HS, TN

Kendrick is an electric two-way playmaker who brings explosive energy, fearless aggression, and relentless drive every time he hits the court. He plays with the IQ of a guard and the presence of a forward, rising at the rim with athleticism, locking in defensively, and using his quickness to control both ends. What separates Kendrick from others in his class is his ability to create chaos with his versatility. He scores in transition, punishes defenders with athletic, crafty finishes, and uses his length and timing to reject shots on the defensive end. His confidence is growing fast, and the more he's on the floor, the more he proves he's built to lead and dominate. Kendrick doesn't just show up, but changes the tone of the game.

This past season, Kendrick averaged 15.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 2 blocks per game, showcasing his ability to control the boards, protect the paint, and be a stat sheet stuffer from multiple positions. His biggest improvement came in his confidence and offensive aggression, validated by a 25-point performance against a rival school that sent a message that he’s ready for the spotlight. This offseason, he’s working on elevating his shooting, developing his off-hand, and building a stronger mindset to match his physical tools. He’s also focused on gaining strength and becoming more physical, knowing that the next level will demand it.

Now playing for the Tennessee Tigers, Kendrick is embracing his AAU journey with full intensity. He’s got his sights set on LakePoint, where he’ll compete against top talent and show exactly why he deserves recognition among the best in his class. His mission is to be the best player on the floor every time he steps on it, and prove it through work, effort, and production. Whether it’s a teammate hyping him up or an opponent talking trash, Kendrick uses it all as fuel, and he responds with fire. When facing adversity, he locks in, stays calm, and finishes the job with composure. The best coaching advice he has ever received is, "Be coachable". And he is. Kendrick soaks up every moment to improve, stay sharp, and be ready.

I assess that Kendrick is a fierce competitor with a well-rounded skill set, strong athletic tools, and a motor that never slows. His scoring, rebounding, and defensive versatility give him high value with the ability to impact with versatile roles, and his drive to grow makes him a long-term asset for any high-level program.

As Kendrick continues to add strength, expand his shooting range, and evolve his leadership, expect his stock to rise quickly. He’s a rising star with serious upside, a dynamic athlete with the mentality and mindset to become a name to watch this season and beyond. This train will only pick up steam, so get on board right now. Stay tuned.
