Cody is fierce, ruthless, and relentless, bringing an edge to the offensive line that few can match. Cody's game thrives on physicality and high IQ combined with raw power, that "dawg mentality," he brings toughness on every snap, using precise hand placement and swift footwork to dominate his opponents. Cody's ability to read defensive linemen before the ball is even snapped sets him apart, a skill developed through countless hours of film study. Cody isn’t just a brawler in the trenches but a calculated enforcer who takes pride in controlling the line of scrimmage and pushing his teammates to be their best. His work ethic goes beyond the field and the classroom with the same intensity, reflected in his impressive GPA.

Cody racked up over 30 pancakes this season and posted an 87% grade, making his presence felt on every drive. His hand placement was Cody’s biggest improvement, allowing him to execute blocks with ruthless efficiency. Whether it’s sealing the edge or driving defenders into the dirt, his knockdowns tell the story of a lineman who refuses to be outworked. For Cody, the most inspiring part of the game is knowing he can take over when it matters most, imposing his will on defenders, and controlling the line during key moments. That relentless drive fuels every snap and every rep in the weight room as he continues to elevate his game.

What pushes Cody even harder is the bond he shares with his teammates and the adversity they’ve faced together. That desire to win for his brothers on the field and for himself burns deep. When adversity strikes, he treats it as a lesson and an opportunity to grow and prevent the same mistake from happening again. Cody's mentality is to outwork the competition and trust the process. The best coaching advice he ever received is "embrace every opportunity because there are countless others who would do anything to be in his position".

Cody sees himself playing D1 football but knows it will take long hours in the weight room, continuous work with his trainer, and a disciplined approach to his diet. While Division 1 is the goal, he remains open to other levels if the program feels like family and fits who he is as a player. Any coach who brings Cody into their program can expect a player who delivers on every play, steps up in the biggest moments, and lifts those around him to new levels of confidence and competitiveness. Cody's advice for those chasing similar dreams is to keep pushing and keep working because no amount of talent will ever beat hard work.

With interest already from schools like Gardner-Webb, Newberry, East Carolina, South Carolina, Presbyterian, and Coastal Carolina, Cody is building momentum heading into his junior year. As he prepares for upcoming visits, his focus remains on being the guy a coach can trust when the game is on the line and continuing to dominate every rep, every snap, and every moment.

I asses that Cody’s strength lies in his fierce, relentless approach to the game. His ability to combine physicality with a high football IQ makes him a versatile weapon on the offensive line. His advanced hand placement and quick footwork allow him to win battles in the trenches consistently. What sets him apart is his ability to diagnose defensive alignments pre-snap, a skill that reflects both intelligence and preparation. All this will make him a solid addition to any next-level team. Cody's stock continues to rise. Stay tuned.

Cody's view of adversity with a "learn and improve" mentality shows maturity beyond his years. His drive to win for his teammates fuels his work ethic, and his understanding of the opportunity in front of him keeps him grounded. He cherishes the opportunity and never stops working, reflecting his serious approach to the game.
