But he’s far from just a facilitator, as his ability to score at all three levels has made him a dynamic threat, capable of pulling up from deep, finishing through contact, or attacking gaps with precision. Defensively, Jens is relentless, a fierce competitor who takes pride in locking up his assignment, communicating with his teammates, and keeping the unit organized. He thrives on the energy of a team in rhythm, playing with the kind of fire that fuels winning basketball.
Through his first five games this season, Jens has put up 14.2 points, 6.25 assists, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals per game while shooting 44% from the field. His biggest improvement was in the scoring department. Long known as a pass-first point guard, he’s embraced the challenge of carrying a heavier scoring load for his second-league squad. The development of his shot-making has become more confident, his finishing more assertive, and his ability to take over games more pronounced. But while Jen's offensive impact has grown, his approach remains the same: winning first, stats second.
