JT brings everything you want in a pure point guard including elite vision, high IQ, and a calm, commanding presence that holds the team together. He’s a savvy floor general who sees plays before they unfold, delivers passes with purpose, and runs the show with composure beyond his years. Whether he’s carving up a defense with crafty ball movement or raining shots from deep, JT plays with rhythm and confidence. He’s unselfish but deadly when it's time to score, with a smooth handle under pressure and a deadly shooting touch that keeps defenders honest. His ability to control the tempo, break down traps, and lead with vocal energy fuels his squad. On the defensive end, he’s a pest with quick hands and a fierce will to disrupt. He’s the heartbeat of the team, always reading the floor and finding ways to raise the level of those around him.

This past season, JT averaged 10.3 points, 4.3 assists, and 2.1 rebounds per game. His biggest improvement was his confidence, growing more vocal as a leader and becoming a steady presence in clutch situations. He’s improved his shot consistency, quickened his reads, and embraced the responsibility that comes with running the point. Now he’s locked in on elevating his shooting off the bounce, becoming more dangerous in isolation, and building even more physical and mental strength. He’s also working to become a stronger finisher with both hands and step up his on-ball defense to an even higher level.

This AAU season, JT is playing for Palmetto Pride under Coach DeAngelo Adams on the Puma Circuit. His goals are to compete at a high level, lead his team with energy and IQ, and gain exposure during the live period events. He’s especially excited for the Phenom tournaments in North Carolina and the Puma event in Virginia, which are moments where pressure meets opportunity, and he gets to showcase his full game in front of college coaches. Off the court, JT stays grounded and humble, letting his leadership and drive speak louder than words. When facing adversity, he leans into focus, composure, and control, never rattled, always steady. Every possession is an opportunity to grow, and every game is a chance to prove he’s built for the moment.

Looking ahead to next season, JT is determined to lead River Bluff deep into the postseason. He’s focused on being a vocal leader, taking smarter shots, limiting turnovers, and turning defense into fast breaks. With the ball in his hands, his team knows they’re in good shape and with his fire, they know they have a shot every time out.

I assess that JT’s intelligence, maturity, and control make him an ideal floor general for the next level. His ability to elevate others, manage momentum, and thrive under pressure is the kind of intangible every college program needs. He leads with poise, and his game has no ego, just impact.

Expect JT to keep rising. With continued strength development, an evolving scoring package, and an expanding defensive toolset, he’s on track to be a complete point guard who dictates the pace and wins games. His leadership, consistency, and growth mindset are built for the next step. Stay tuned.
