Brody is a crafty combo guard with sneaky speed. Brody punishes defenders by blowing by them off the bounce, and once they play off, he lights them up from downtown to the tune of a blistering 55.2%. Brody thrives in physical contact when attacking the basket and powers through for fierce finishes. Brody's physical, scrappy play style helps him mix it up on the boards effectively and drop some nice dimes. Brody's sneaky speed helps on the defensive side of the ball as well, as he jumps the passing lanes with strong anticipation and turns defense into offense in a flash.
Last season, Brody averaged 12.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 40.9% from 3. This season, Brody is taking his game to the next level, averaging 16.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game while maintaining a jaw-dropping 55.2% from beyond the arc. His biggest improvements are his growing confidence, increased physicality, and becoming faster. Brody's ultimate goal for the season is clear: to win the region.
Brody’s basketball career has already included a major highlight: winning the AAU State Championship in 4th grade. Looking ahead, he’s fired up for the showdown with Butler County, a team riding a streak of 20+ undefeated 3rd region games. Brody believes in his team’s ability to make a deep run if they come together as one. Nothing fuels his fire like hitting a clutch shot or completing an and-1 basket.
When adversity strikes, Brody meets it head-on by working harder. The best advice he’s ever received—“never give up on your dreams”—continues to drive him. Outside of basketball, Brody enjoys farming, baseball, and spending time with friends. To achieve his ultimate dream of playing at the next level, Brody knows he must stay committed to improving his game and gaining exposure. Though he currently has zero college offers, Brody’s relentless work ethic and dazzling performances are sure to turn heads soon.
Brody's lethal three-point shooting and overall skill are a good fit for next-level play. The fact that Brody already plays physically and is gritty means there won't be a big learning curve in these areas, making him much more ready for next-level work sooner. Brody is certainly one to keep a close eye on, as his stock will continue to rise with the high-level performances he has had this season. Stay tuned.
