Landon is a shifty combo guard who is a punishing triple-threat scoring option with deep-range ability from three. Landon Landon can bring that rain from deep on the catch-and-shoot or flying off screens. Landon is crafty and aggressive when he is in attack mode, slicing into the lane and calling pull-up for a nice middy or finishing strong at the rim even through contact. But Landon is more than just a shooter; but a very gifted playmaker with nice handles and good court vision, dissecting the defense to find open teammates for open buckets. Landon is gritty 3nough to mix it up on the boards and a solid defender with quick hands to disrupt a smooth offensive fliw of hus opponents.
Landon is enjoying a red-hot start to the season, averaging 20 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds per game. He entered the season with a clear goal of averaging 17–18 points and winning the regional tournament, but he’s not just met those aspirations—he’s shattered them. His scoring versatility and an elevated all-around game have positioned him as a breakout performer. This leap forward reflects his relentless commitment and growth, especially when compared to last year, where, as a freshman, he saw limited varsity minutes.
Landon has embraced the opportunity to make a greater impact and prove his abilities this season. Facing top-ranked opponents like Hazard, where Perry County Central narrowly lost by three, has shown Landon’s competitive edge and his belief that his team has what it takes to make a deep tournament run.
But what sets Landon apart isn’t just his skills; it’s his faith. For Landon, basketball is more than a game—it’s an expression of trust, faith, and dedication to God. When adversity strikes, he turns to prayer, seeking strength and guidance. This relationship with God calms his spirit and fuels his confidence and composure on the court. Landon’s unwavering belief shapes his perspective, reminding him to make the most of the four short years of high school basketball he’s been given. This powerful foundation of faith makes his journey all the more inspiring.
Landon is exploring new hobbies like golf and video games off the court, but his focus remains on achieving his basketball dreams. His dream school is the University of Kentucky, a program he’s idolized for years. While he currently has no offers, Landon’s faith in his abilities and tireless work ethic set him apart. Whether it’s hours in the gym or sacrifices off the court, Landon is determined to make his mark and earn a spot at a Division I school. For him, Kentucky is the ultimate prize—a daily goal fueling his drive.
Landon’s potential to play at the next level is undeniable. His passion, grit, and ability to rise to the occasion in big games are paving the way for a bright future. With each performance, Landon’s stock continues to rise. The best is yet to come, so stay tuned for what’s next in his incredible journey.
