Last year, Carly was a double-double machine, averaging an impressive 15 points and 15 rebounds per game, with 28 double-doubles over the season. This year, she’s elevated her offensive output to 22 points per game while maintaining 8 rebounds—a testament to her focus on becoming an even greater scoring threat. With her team adjusting to the loss of senior starters, Carly has embraced a leadership role, setting personal and team-oriented goals. Her vision for the season is clear: to grow as a cohesive unit and make a deep state playoff run, if not this year, then build toward next season.
Carly's faith and perspective keep her grounded as she prepares for competitive district matchups. Facing challenges with resilience, she draws inspiration from her favorite Bible verse, Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." At this point, Carly has several college programs that interest her, but I have no offers yet. My offers are already out there. I am waiting on God's timing.
I assess that Carly is destined for a bright future in the game she loves. At her current pace, it won't be long before interests become offers.
