Zach is a dynamic and versatile player who can impact a game in many ways. Zach is a powerful, athletic force who thrives in transition, attacking the rim with explosive drives and finishing strong. As a three-level scorer, he can score from anywhere on the floor—whether it’s driving to the basket, pulling up for mid-range shots, or working off the ball for open looks. Zach is working on expanding his three-point range; his ability to get downhill and finish at the rim has been his biggest improvement this season. Zach is averaging 14.1 points per game and 6.4 rebounds, which reflects his all-around game, while his 45.8% field goal percentage highlights his efficient scoring ability. Currently Zach has elevated his game and is averaging 15.7 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 51.2 % field goal percentage.
Zach’s mindset and approach to the game are what truly set him apart. Zach remains calm and collected in high-pressure situations, a trait that has served him well in late-game scenarios. Zach has never really had problems in late games, and he has always enjoyed it. Zach's ability to stay poised no matter what’s going on speaks to his mental toughness, which is a huge asset as he continues to progress in his game. Zach also emphasizes defense, knowing that stopping opponents leads to easy opportunities on the other end. Zach believes “Defense is key to everything,” knowing they score off of stops and dunks.” His team-first mentality, combined with his defensive instincts and work ethic, makes Zach a valuable player capable of contributing at the next level.
Zach's goal this season is winning his district and region, and he’s on track to hit a major milestone—1,000 career points. Zech believes that if his team buys into the defensive side of the game, their goal of winning the region is within reach. Zach’s focus remains clear: "Win the day." As he looks toward the future, Zach sees himself as a potential fit on a Division I team, where his ability to play within an offense and score off ball movement would make him an asset. Though he hasn’t received any offers yet, he’s starting to attract attention from college programs, which could soon turn into visits. Zach's all-around game, coupled with his determination and calm demeanor, positions him for success at the next level.
