Nidas is a big guard with a non-stop motor and a high basketball IQ. He’s fast, athletic, and extremely crafty, excelling in pushing the pace and staying in constant attack mode. A dynamic ball-handler, Nidas can serve as a master facilitator and be a three-level scoring threat. His combination of size and skill makes him a match-up nightmare for opposing teams. With a silky smooth outside shot and explosive moves off the dribble, Nidas finds ways to score no matter how the defense plays him. One of his biggest strengths is his flip shot, which he can execute from nearly anywhere around the paint. Adding to his offensive prowess, Nidas easily drops dimes, battles hard for rebounds, and locks down opponents as a ruthless defender and shot blocker.

In his senior year of high school, Nidas averaged 16 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. This season, at North Dakota State College of Science, he’s posting solid numbers with 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. While focusing on improving his strength and gaining weight, Nida's goals for the season are to win as many games as possible, secure the conference championship, and earn a recruitment to a higher level.

Though his team is young, with only three sophomores and two returning players, Nidas sees progress as they adapt to the faster pace of college basketball. Nidas' biggest improvement this season has been reading defenses, controlling the tempo, and knowing when to push or slow down the offense to secure the best shot.

Nidas’s basketball resume includes two trips to the prestigious Campeonato de España (Spain Championship), Hoop State finalist honors, and Big Shots MVP recognition. He’s also been ranked by Big Shots for his AAU performances. He eagerly anticipates one rivalry game against Dawson Community College, a clash with a rich competition history.

Off the court, Nidas is passionate about traveling and learning new languages, speaking three languages fluently, and aiming to master more. His work ethic, consistency, and commitment to self-improvement drive his aspirations to play at the NCAA DI or II level. Nidas believes his balanced offensive and defensive game, combined with his relentless effort, makes him a perfect fit.

For Nidas, basketball is more than a game—it’s a process of growth. He embraces adversity by putting in extra work, following the advice to focus on what he can control, and letting go of what he cannot. With his dynamic skill set, strong mindset, and a team with growing chemistry, Nidas is poised to make an impact this season and beyond.
