Cannon is a dynamic playmaker who electrifies the court with his explosive handles and fearless approach to the game. His ability to shift gears at will makes him a nightmare for defenders, whether he’s breaking them down off the dribble, dropping dimes like candy, or rising up for a lethal middy. His silky-smooth floater is a thing of beauty, gliding through the air before softly finding the net. When he gets downhill, he attacks the rim with aggression, using crafty finishes to get buckets in traffic. And while scoring is his bread and butter, he isn’t just about putting up points but finding his teammates in stride, setting them up for easy scores while snagging a few boards himself.
Cannon made a statement this season, averaging 14 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds per game, proving himself as both a scorer and a facilitator. His midrange and floater game were as lethal as ever, but what stood out most was his growth as an overall playmaker. Cannon shot the ball better than ever before, expanding his offensive arsenal. His biggest focus this offseason is becoming a more consistent three-point shooter and adding strength to his frame, making him an even tougher cover. The most motivating moment of his season came when his squad battled their way to a second-place finish in the conference tournament, fueling his hunger to take the next step and finish on top next time.
Cannon runs with Northeast Ravens Elite, where he’s determined to elevate his game to new heights. His AAU goals are to average 18 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds per game while earning spots on multiple top performers lists throughout the circuit. With the Big Shots Carolina Challenge on the horizon, he’s ready to showcase his skills against high-level competition and prove he belongs among the best.
At the core of Cannon’s fire is his faith—he plays for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—and that belief gives him the confidence to trust in himself, his teammates, and the work he puts in. He embraces adversity, never backing down from a challenge, knowing that every setback is just another opportunity to rise stronger. The best advice he’s ever received? "Trust in the work you put in." That mindset keeps him locked in, knowing that relentless effort will always pay off.
Cannon recently received his first offer from Free Lutheran Bible College (FLBC), marking an exciting milestone in his journey. I asses that Cannon’s game fits well to the next level with his explosiveness off the bounce, court vision, and ability to score at all three levels make him a natural for a system that values dynamic playmakers. As he continues to perfect his outside shot and build strength, he’ll only become more dangerous, giving any college program a guard who can create, distribute, and make plays in the clutch.
We expect Cannon to keep leveling up. His work ethic, combined with his relentless drive to be a complete player, ensures that he’s nowhere near his ceiling. With a strong offseason ahead and big performances on the AAU stage, he’s setting himself up to be a name to watch. The best part is Cannon is just getting started.
