Brooks is a dynamic, blue-collar weapon with a game built on grit, fire, and fierce two-way impact. Standing 6’5” with a frame that’s long and athletic, he brings explosive energy to every possession, whether he's drilling a deep three or skying above the rim to finish with authority. A lethal outside shooter who converts at a blazing clip, Brooks thrives when the pressure is high, torching defenders with his range and versatility. But his game isn’t just built on flash; it’s built on fight. He dominates the glass as a relentless rebounding machine, owns the defensive end with his length and timing, and fuels every possession with a motor that never quits. Brooks plays with a fierce sense of purpose, locking in on both ends, giving his team a burst of electricity every time he steps on the floor.

This season, Brooks averaged 14.45 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game, while shooting an elite 39% from beyond the arc. He led his team in both field goal and three-point percentage, showing off his efficiency and explosiveness. His biggest improvement was in his defense and his long-range shooting. His three-point percentage jumped a full nine points from last year. Brooks credits his defensive development as a major focus and strength this season. He also shined brightest in the biggest moments, pouring in 29 points—including 26 in the second half—against a heated rival and earning First Team All-Region, All-Tournament Team honors at two major events, and Offensive Player of the Year for King’s Academy. With more in-game dunks and a growing post presence, his inside game continues to evolve as well.

This spring and summer, Brooks is playing with the SEBA Warriors, a program he’s proudly represented since 15U. Under Coach LoPresti, he’s gearing up for a huge AAU season and ready to attack the live period with a chip on his shoulder. He’s looking forward to traveling with his squad, playing on big stages, and showcasing his explosive growth against top talent from around the country. But what matters most to Brooks is one final run next season with his teammates, who’ve become like brothers.

Off the court, Brooks is chill, grounded, and down-to-earth. He enjoys spending time with close friends, relaxing with family, and living life with perspective. At the core of everything he does is his unshakable faith in God. That relationship guides his every step, fuels his mindset, and keeps him centered when pressure builds. He gives all glory to God for the blessings in his life and believes that whatever success he finds on the court starts with Him.

What fuels Brooks is the electricity of team basketball. When the energy is high, the momentum is building, and everyone is locked in together. That’s when he’s at his fiercest. When facing adversity, Brooks stays cool. He slows things down mentally, trusts in his preparation, and finds a way through. The best coaching advice he’s ever received is simple but powerful: “I believe you.” That confidence has stuck with him ever since.

I assess that Brooks is a long, high-energy forward who can hurt defenses in multiple ways. His ability to consistently knock down shots from deep opens up space for his teammates, and his rebounding gives his team extra possessions. His defensive instincts and timing, paired with his size and ability to contest, make him a valuable asset in any lineup. He’s tough, coachable, and willing to do the dirty work. For a college program, he brings an edge, someone who can stretch the floor, guard multiple positions, and compete with intensity every night. He’s a connector who elevates the energy around him.

:

Brooks is just getting started. With another full offseason to build on his explosive gains, his ceiling continues to rise. He’s locked in on getting stronger, more efficient inside, and becoming even more dominant defensively. His potential lies in his versatility and his ability to be a mismatch on offense and a stopper on defense. With his work ethic, edge, and belief in something bigger than himself, Brooks has everything it takes to keep evolving. Expect more big games, more team-first moments, and more explosive highlights from a rising player with a fierce game and an even stronger foundation. Stay tuned.
