His ability to score at all three levels makes him a dangerous weapon, while his court vision allows him to create opportunities for teammates with pinpoint passes. As a defensive gem, Brody thrives on disrupting passing lanes, using his length to tip passes and generate steals. His fearless approach at the rim, combined with his knack for drawing contact, makes Brody a tough assignment for any defender. Whether it’s knocking down a smooth three-pointer, slashing inside for a tough finish, or locking up on defense, his game is as versatile as it is electric.
This season, Brody showcased his ability to score efficiently, averaging 12.2 points per game, while his biggest improvement came in the form of confidence. The work he put in outside of school paid off, allowing him to shoot without hesitation and play with fluidity. His next challenge lies in the AAU circuit, where he will be to play for the South Austin Warriors. His goals are to continue his shooting consistently from deep, attack the rim with more aggression, and help his team win tournaments. While he doesn’t know the exact tournaments he’ll be competing in yet, Brody's excitement is through the roof. He’s also looking forward to the upcoming high school season, where he’ll have the opportunity to play alongside older, more experienced teammates for the first time. That added challenge will push him to elevate his game even further, sharpening his skills against stronger competition.
What fuels Brody's fire is the knowledge that every moment on the court is built on the hours of work he’s put in behind the scenes. His confidence isn’t just natural, but it’s earned. When adversity hits, Brody keeps his composure by taking a deep breath and filling his mind with positive thoughts, ensuring he stays locked in no matter the circumstances. The best coaching advice Brody has ever received is "Play quick and give 100% the whole game," which has become the foundation of his playing style. Brody's love for basketball runs deep, and his dream of playing at the collegiate level is more than just a goal; it’s a mission he’s fully committed to chasing.
