Zachary is a shifty point guard who thrives on making plays for his teammates who is explosivewith the ball in his hands anddynamicintheopenfloor. His vision is electric, threading passes through tight windows, while his ability to knock down shots from deep makes him a constant offensive threat. Defensively, he plays with fierce intensity, swarming ball handlers and disrupting passing lanes with quick hands and relentless energy. His love for defense fuels his fire, and he embraces the chaos of competition, always willing to sacrifice his body for a loose ball or force a critical steal.

This season, Zachary averaged 5.0 PPG on 16 minutes per game, shooting 31% from three and 43% from two while averaging 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 2.0 rebounds per game. His biggest improvement was his ability to create for others, seeing plays unfold before they happen and setting up teammates with dazzling passes. Heading into the offseason, he’s locked in on attacking the basket stronger, finishing through contact, and refining his pull-up jumper to keep defenders guessing. His teammates’ unwavering support helped him push through self-doubt this season, and he’s using that motivation to fuel an intense summer of development.

While Zachary won’t be playing AAU this spring due to baseball commitments, his hunger to improve hasn’t wavered. He’s eager to improve his game with personal workouts and in-game adjustments during the high school season. Next year, he’s looking forward to his own development and the growth of his squad, believing they have what it takes to make a deep run in the state tournament. With his playmaking ability and defensive tenacity, he’s expecting to be a major factor in their success.

Off the court, Zachary enjoys stepping away from basketball to recharge, embracing the balance between sports and everyday life. Whether it's spending time with friends, playing baseball, or just enjoying a break, he understands the importance of maintaining a clear mind. That ability to reset helps him return to the court with fresh energy and a sharper focus.

What fires Zachary up most is defensive intensity; he thrives when the game gets gritty, feeding off the energy of forcing turnovers and making hustle plays. Zachary channels it into his defense when facing adversity, but he also battles frustration when things don’t go his way. The best advice he’s ever received comes from Coach Tamm, who taught him to have a "goldfish memory"—to let go of mistakes instantly and focus on the next play. That will be key as he continues to elevate his game.

Zachary’s ability to dictate the pace of a game makes him a valuable asset at the next level. His shifty handle and explosive court vision allow him to create scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates, while his defensive swagger sets the tone for an entire team. As he elevates his ability to finish through contact and continues to evolve his offensive arsenal, his versatility as a floor general will only grow. His willingness to do the dirty work, coupled with his sharp instincts, gives him the potential to be a game-changing presence in any collegiate backcourt.

Zachary is headed toward a breakout season. With a focus on getting stronger and becoming a more dynamic scorer, he’s setting himself up for a major leap in production. His confidence as a leader will only grow, and as he continues to develop his mental toughness, he’ll be even more dangerous
