The 2024-25 season has seen Lukas take a massive leap, averaging 15 points per game on 51% shooting from the field and an impressive 42% from beyond the arc. Lukas's improved shooting and expanded offensive role have been vital after his team lost two key scorers. Compared to last season’s 9.3 points per game and 32% three-point shooting, his improvement as a perimeter threat is undeniable. Adding 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.9 steals per game, Lukas is impacting every level of the game. Lukas’s main focus this season has been to leading his team back to the Glass House for another state championship run, knowing it will take relentless effort, clutch performances, and a commitment to defensive intensity.
What fuels Lukas's fire is the thrill of an and-one in a tight game that, in the moment, tests his toughness and sparks fire for his team and the crowd. Lukas embraces adversity head-on, never backing down from a challenge, especially when called upon to lock down elite opponents. The best advice Lukas has ever received is, "Just play my game and believe in my abilities." That belief pushes Lukas to constant improvement, from refining his off-ball shooting to studying film to maximize his impact. Lukas’s diligence in watching film is a game-changer as he breaks down defensive schemes, studies opponents’ tendencies, and pinpoints areas to exploit. Film work not only sharpens his decision-making but prepares him to make the right reads and react instinctively in the biggest moments. Lukas knows that to play at the next level, he must continue pushing himself daily, building his strength, elevating his skills, and thriving in high-pressure moments.
