Marshall is a high-flying, physical guard whose explosive athleticism and relentless energy make him a difference-maker on both ends of the floor. His 35-inch vertical, speed, and strength allow him to attack the game with force, whether he’s soaring for a rebound, locking down an assignment, or finishing at the rim with authority. Defensively, he’s embracing the challenge of becoming a disruptive presence, using his quickness and growing physicality to impact the game beyond scoring. His ability to elevate, outwork opponents, and bring intensity every possession fuels his rise as a two-way force.
This season Marshall averaged 11.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.0 steal per game, stepping into a starting varsity role after not playing at that level last year. His biggest improvement has been in his strength and explosiveness, transforming his game with a faster first step and more aggressive style of play. This offseason, his focus is on taking his defense and rebounding to the next level, ensuring he can dominate both ends of the floor. The goal is to become a lockdown defender and a more complete player.
AAU season presents another opportunity for Marshall to showcase his talent on a bigger stage. Competing with Expression Prep Elite, he’s laser-focused on securing his first offer and gaining major exposure. The Big Shot Circuit is where he’s looking to prove himself, and with his athleticism and defensive mindset, he’s poised to turn heads. Facing elite competition fuels his competitive fire, and he’s ready to rise to the occasion.
Off the court, Marshall enjoys living in the moment, embracing the game and the bonds it creates. His love for basketball goes beyond stats but it’s the energy, the grind, and the excitement of big moments that keep him locked in. When facing adversity, Marshall leans on his faith as his strength. He turns to God, knowing that no obstacle is too big to overcome. Marshall's mentality is built on confidence and joy, reinforced by the best coaching advice he’s ever received: "Be yourself, play with confidence, and always have a smile on your face." That mindset keeps him fearless in any situation.
I assess that Marshall’s athleticism, defensive swagger, and relentless motor make him a valuable asset for any program. His ability to play above the rim, battle on the boards, and commit to defense gives him a strong foundation to build on. As he continues fine-tuning his on-ball defense and rebounding, he’ll become a complete two-way player. His drive, toughness, and hunger to improve will ensure he doesn’t just compete but thrive.
Expect Marshall to keep evolving, expanding his game while bringing the same intensity every night. His athleticism and defensive growth will be key as he positions himself to make an impact at the next level. As he keeps putting in the work, his stock will continue to rise, and he will be a name to remember.
