Wes is an electric stud, driven by his versatility and sheer dominance on both ends of the court. At 6’8”, he pairs size with a fierce ability to attack the rim while using either hand to finish through contact. Wes’s dynamic court vision enables him to thread pinpoint passes to teammates, creating opportunities even in tight defensive sets. As a relentless rebounder, Wes owns the glass with his tenacity, while his defensive intensity sets the tone for his team, from ruthless blocks to critical stops in clutch moments. Offensively, he can overpower opponents in the post, explode past them on drives, or stretch the floor with his improving outside shot. Wes's combination of power, finesse, and unyielding drive makes him a matchup nightmare for any opponent.

Wes’s biggest improvement from last season is his improved decision-making and a focus on team play. Wes’s currently averaging 17.7 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 4 assists per game highlight his improvement, particularly in facilitating for teammates. As an unselfish player, Wes aspires to elevate his assist numbers more, with a goal of achieving multiple triple-doubles by season’s end. Wes is focused on key areas for growth, including elevating his three-point shot, perfecting a fadeaway jumper, and navigating soft spots in zone defenses. Wes aims to lead his team to a conference championship and a deep playoff run and fuel his relentless work ethic.

What fuels Wes's fire is the thrill of competition and the satisfaction of team success. Wes doesn't like to lose and doesn’t want to let his teammates down. That fire, ignited by the energy of big plays like a thunderous dunk or a game-changing block, pushes him to be his best every time he steps on the floor. When adversity strikes, Wes leans on his faith, trusting God to guide him through challenges. He adopts a measured approach, slowing the game down in tough moments to stay composed and make smart decisions. The best advice he’s ever received—“Have a short memory of mistakes and focus on the next play”—has become his mantra for bouncing back and staying locked in during games.

Wes’s combination of size, skill, and versatility makes him a high-level prospect. Wes's ability to dominate inside while facilitating offense and playing lock-down defense translates well to higher levels of competition. The consistent double-doubles he delivers highlight his all-around impact, while his commitment to improving specific areas of his game validates his ceiling as a complete player. With offers already on the table and more interest building, Wes is well on his way to making his mark at the collegiate level.
