Will is a dynamic wing who brings an electric mix of skill, size, and court awareness. Will’s ability to stretch the floor with deep shooting makes him a constant threat, but it’s his explosive first step and fearless finishing at the rim that makes him truly dangerous. With a long frame and a high IQ, Will is a disruptive presence on defense, using his length to challenge shots and disrupt passing lanes. Will's ball-handling is elite for his size and age, allowing him to create off the dribble and keep defenders guessing.
The biggest impingement in Will’s game since last season has been his confidence and willingness to take over in key moments. Being asked to practice with Lake Norman’s varsity squad and earning the 6th man spot because of his relentless work ethic on and off the court and improving his three-point shooting to over 40% this season lit a fire under him, pushing him to elevate his game. Will’s focus remains on improving his outside shot even more and expanding his inside scoring, making him a more complete offensive weapon. Playing up with Carolina Riptide 2026, Will's goal is to keep competing and winning alongside his teammates while continuing to develop his all-around game.
Will’s drive comes from his desire to be a great teammate and make a name for himself. Will thrives in competitive environments and takes pride in being coachable, absorbing every detail his coaches give him. When adversity strikes, his mindset is simple: move on to the next play and keep pushing forward. Will embraces every challenge as fuel, knowing that the work he puts in now will shape his future.
I assess that Will’s versatility, length, and ability to impact both ends of the floor make him a player to watch. Will’s shooting continues to improve, and as he becomes more aggressive, his game will reach another level. With his work ethic and mindset, he’s on the right path to making a serious impact at the next level.
