Cobb is an electric force on the court, a dynamic left-handed playmaker who thrives in attack mode. His game is built on an explosive first step, relentless aggression toward the rim, and a natural ability to finish through contact. Defenders struggle to contain his fearless drives, and once he gets downhill, he’s a nightmare to stop. Cobb isn’t just a straight-line slasher but crafty in traffic, adjusting mid-air to get off tough shots and scoring on the move with impressive body control.

Averaging 12.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, he has already established himself as a serious offensive weapon. Cobb's ability to deliver on moving shots and finish at the basket sets him apart, but his hunger for improvement makes him even more dangerous. After focusing on finishing through contact last season, he now sets his sights on improving his long-range shooting and mid-range dribble pull-ups. With defenses collapsing on his drives, a consistent pull-up jumper would make him even more unguardable.

Cobb’s impact extends beyond scoring. His defensive instincts are fierce, and he thrives on creating turnovers, turning defense into instant offense. His high-energy play fuels his team, and he understands the importance of staying composed in the heat of battle. That calm under pressure allows him to take over when the moment demands it. His mindset is playing for the name on the jersey, giving his all for his team.

This offseason, Cobb will be relentlessly in the gym, fine-tuning his shot, expanding his offensive arsenal, and preparing for a big AAU season. While he hasn’t locked in a team yet, his focus is on winning, building chemistry with new teammates, and catching the eyes of recruiters. With state tournament aspirations and a hunger to elevate his game, Cobb is determined to take another leap forward.

I assess that Cobb’s attacking mentality and ability to finish through contact are immediate assets for any college program. His ability to slash and create his own shot puts constant pressure on defenses. At the next level, his ability to handle physicality and absorb contact will help him thrive as a primary scorer or secondary playmaker. His versatility makes him a tough matchup, especially as he refines his jumper. As he adds a consistent three-point shot and improves his off-the-dribble scoring, he becomes an even bigger threat.

On the defensive side, Cobb’s ability to create turnovers adds versatility. Coaches love players who can disrupt passing lanes and generate easy transition buckets. His motor, athleticism, and commitment to playing for his team suggest he’ll be a coachable, high-energy player who embraces his role and competes every possession.

As Cobb continues expanding his offensive arsenal, such as developing a more lethal mid-range and deep shooting game, he will force defenders to play him honest, opening up even more driving lanes. Offseason training will be key, and with his work ethic, expect major improvements. Continued growth as a playmaker, along with added strength and defensive consistency, will take his game to another level.

Cobb has the talent, mindset, and work ethic to make waves in the coming years. With a strong AAU season and continued development, he’s well on his way to making a name for himself beyond McMinn County. This left-handed playmaker is just getting started.
