Britt is a tough , savvy pg that is a scoring machine that can score on all three levels at will. Brittt is crafty and creates his own shots. Electric off the bounce and a fierce finisher. Good court vision which he uses to deliver some nice passes. Brittt has a knack for a force on the boards and is a tenacious 94ft defender.
This past season Brit averaged 19.3 Points, 6.5 Assist , 5.6 rebounds , and 2.3 steals per game while shooting a red hot 42% from three and 78% FT. Britt's most motivating thing that happened last year was losing to South Charleston after having a good all around game with 20 points and 6 assists and 3 rebounds but losing by 2 to go up state! During every single workout Britt constantly thinking about the feeling he had after that game! Britt 's goals as a senior is to lead his team and to keep them together , locked in to achieve their goal to win the state tournament which means avenging that tough loss to South Charleston. and shock the state! That has been Britt's goal since the day we lost to South Charleston and he knows we can do it if they just stay the course and trust in God even when things get hard on them during the season just believing in him and knowing he will deliver for them at the right time!
Playing AAU for WV Aftershock, Britt's goal is to improve for the upcoming season and get better!while looking to improve his jumping, speed and the little things that matter. !
The thing that mostly fires Britt up on the court is the way the crowd gets fired up to watch them play but also when the other team likes to talk because he is full of energy and when someone starts talking Brit likes to get in there face and cause a turnover to let them know that him and his team are here!
Britt has always handled adversity really well not just on the court but in life as well! When a team goes on a run which they will eventually do, they get to a timeout and get things back together! it’s always something that you gotta breathe about because the other team is gonna clap and the fans are gonna go crazy if you are on the road so it’s just something that he always handles pretty well! No matter what there is no reason to panic or get down because that won’t change anything so always just like to let God handle all his worries and keep his team's head up!
Something a coach can expect from Britt is energy the whole game and him doing the little things that matter! Another thing is communication!
Britt can see himself playing D2 or even D1. Brittt had a great summer and fall of training and working out and having a great nutrition plan as well! Brit has grown a lot since his junior year and it is showing!
I assess that the huge summer Britt had is a stepping stone to a monster senior season and can thrive at any D2 but putting in work like aD1. The competitive fire he played with in the summer validates he can go at a high level against some of the best. Dont let the size fool you as Britt is yet another giaint of long list of tough guards out of WV who is fearless and fast. Britt can thrive on any stage despite who he is matched up against. Britt is looking to make a huge statement with a locked in mission as he makes one last run looking to open more doors for himself along the way. Just needs one coach to see and believe in him making a strong impact on the D2 level or better. Stay tuned.and looking for more.
