Daniel Farin @danielfarin, 6'0 ft, 160 , c/o 24 from Linsy High School, WV is hard nosed blue collar combo guard that has one the purest three point shooters will ever find. The transfer from Finland is a proven leader on and off the court. Not only is he an excellent three point sniper he can attack effectively off the bounce with nasty handles and can thread the needle with timely passes. High offensive IQ and when he gets hot there is no slowing him down. .Strong ball handler and a solid defender. Last season Daniel averaged 10.5 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. He played very well in the AAU session as well with Team 304 on the Prep Hops Circuit. It's clear that Daniel can compete at a high level here as well as his skill set translate very well with that shooting ability and passing ability with the willingness to defend. The goal is a breakout senior season and to lead his team on a deep playoff run and continue to elevate his game and set himself apart to gain an opportunity to be an impact player on the next level as well. Daniel is a solid D2 caliber player but is open to D3, NAIA or JUCO opportunities if it's the right fit. My assessment is Daniel is the perfect glue guy that will help the program get a lot of wins . Very coachable and soaks up information and instruction like a sponge and its evident quickly . This young star is hungry and determined to prove he can compete and excel even among the best talent in WV. Lock him in and watch him shine.
