Tyler is an explosive two-way player who dominates on both ends of the court. Defensively, he’s a tenacious rebounder and a scrappy disruptive force, with the ability to guard multiple positions and create turnovers. Offensively, Tyler is a dynamic scorer in the paint who can also knock down mid-range shots and stretch the floor when needed. Tyler’s court vision and passing ability allow him to set up teammates for easy buckets, while his aggression in attacking the rim makes him a consistent scoring threat.
Last season, Tyler averaged 10.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. This year, he’s taken his game to another level, putting up 16.3 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. Tyler's biggest improvements have been his confidence and aggression on offense. Tyler has become one of the team’s primary scoring threats and has added versatility to his skill set. Tyler’s focus remains on continuing to improve his shooting percentages and ball control, ensuring he can deliver under any circumstances.
With state championship dreams on the line, Tyler’s main goal is clear: win it all. To get there, his team must overcome strong competition and elevate the confidence of less-experienced teammates. Tyler understands that preparing them for high-pressure moments will be vital for their success. Facing rivals like Dillon, who edged out a state title last year, only fuels Tyler’s determination to lead his team to victory.
Tyler thrives on big moments and the energy of his teammates. Whether it’s a game-changing defensive stop or a clutch shot, those moments light his fire. Tyler stays calm under adversity by focusing on what he can control and always looking ahead to the next play. The best advice Tyler has ever received is, “Try your hardest at everything you do.” It’s a simple yet powerful reminder that effort drives results, and Tyler embodies it in everything he does.
Off the court, Tyler enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s camping, hitting the lake, or relaxing by the river. With offers from multiple colleges already in hand and coaches showing interest in his game, Tyler is ready to keep pushing himself. His hard work, passion, and dynamic style of play ensure there’s a bright road ahead for this fierce competitor.
