James is an electric player who can flip the game on its head with a single possession. A towering 6'8" presence with a versatile, ever-evolving game, he dominates the court with a rare mix of length, touch, and timing. James is a ruthless rebounder, gobbling up boards with authority and leading fast breaks like a high-flying locomotive. His shot is silky smooth and pure, stretching the floor with a lethal three-ball that makes defenders rethink giving him even an inch. In the paint, he’s relentless protecting the rim with punishing blocks and finishing inside with a smooth blend of finesse and force. His defensive instincts are dynamic, and his ability to guard multiple positions gives him the kind of two-way stud that’s hard to come by.

This past season, James proved he’s more than just potential, he’s production in motion. Averaging 10.4 points per game (2nd on the team), he led Brentwood Academy in rebounds at 6.2 and swatted 1.3 blocks per game, also a team-best. His efficiency is clear as the numbers don't lie. As he shot a blistering 57% from two-point range and a scorching 46% from beyond the arc, making him one of the most accurate perimeter threats on the team. The biggest improvement in his game came from deep, where his three-point shooting evolved into a true weapon. Heading into the offseason, he’s locked in on ball-handling and consistency at the free throw line, aiming to become more dangerous on the drive and at the line. What truly left a mark on his year was earning a varsity starting spot as a freshman and proving he belonged both as a scorer and as a defensive anchor.

This AAU season, James is playing with Bradley Beal Elite – EYBL, one of the premier circuits in the country. His goal is to be a key contributor on a nationally recognized powerhouse. With a stacked roster returning, James is fueled by the opportunity to grow with familiar faces and chase something special. Peach Jam stands as the crown jewel of his summer, a stage where he plans to make noise, put his skills on full display, and show just how high his ceiling really is.

Off the court, James is easygoing but competitive, enjoying downtime with friends and family while staying locked into his bigger vision. What fuels his fire is big plays like an "and one" that ignites the crowd or a clutch block that turns the momentum. Those moments bring out the best in him. When facing adversity, James resets, mentally tough, he locks back in and pushes through, determined to let nothing derail him. The best coaching advice that’s stuck with him is “Do all the little things, and those will lead to the big things.” That has become a foundation for how he trains, plays, and approaches every rep.

I assess that James has the tools, size, and mentality to be a game-changer at the next level. His outside shot is already elite for his age and size, and his interior presence makes him a dual-threat scorer and rim protector. He’s a dependable rebounder and instinctive defender with the motor to outwork his matchup every time down the floor. As he continues to add more strength and improved handle, he’s on track to become a true inside-out mismatch nightmare. His consistent production and ability to affect multiple aspects of the game make him a rare and valuable asset.

What separates James is his versatility. He can space the floor like a guard, rebound like a big, and defend with purpose. His impact on a college program would be immediate.

James is entering a crucial stretch where growth and opportunity are lining up perfectly. With another varsity season on coming and a loaded AAU summer ahead, he’s positioned to make a serious leap. Expect his ball-handling and physicality to take noticeable steps forward, adding even more layers to his game. As he continues to gain more confidence and experience, James has the tools to separate himself nationally as one of the most complete and impactful bigs in his class. His rise won’t be quiet. He is coming, and college programs should already be paying close attention. This is a show you don't want to miss. Stay tuned.
