Jacari is a high IQ explosive stud that checks every box. A three-level scorer who can destroy a defense at will from anywhere on the floor. He has a silky smooth touch. Jacari is aggressive and crafty off the bounce. He has great court vision. Jacari delivers sweet dime-like candy passes and wipes the boards clean - like the Windex man. He is a fierce defender—a two-way match-up nightmare.
This past season Jacari averaged 23 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks per game for Horace Mann Middle School leading the team to a 3rd place finish with a record of 17-3. In the AAU session playing for WVGOLD Jacari picked right up where he left off averaging 17 points, 10 assists, and 3 steals per game teamed up with the best players in the state and is currently ranked the #1 pg in the class of 2028, the only 2028 with a division 1 offer from Illinois State University and Coach Slay has also has received 6 division 2 offers as well as an offer from Fort Union and Coach Williams, while being one of the leading scorers on the team.
Jacari's biggest improvement from the season would be his poise and pace of the game. Jacari has learned when to use his elite speed. He is also a dual sport athlete and the fastest kid in the state.
Jacari has been offered to play for the National Team for Huntington Prep, this has been one of his biggest accomplishments because the school is known for getting the attention nationally from power 5 schools and has a track record for getting kids into school his opportunities have become endless as his potential is through the roof.
Jacari's AAU goals were accomplished when he got to play and was invited to play on the Adidas circuit Team Push out of Virginia while playing on the Puma-sponsored WVgold.
The biggest focus on the upcoming season is earning FRESHMEN OF THE YEAR honors or newcomer of the year.
I assess that Jacabi is an incredibly gifted athlete as I announced to everyone in the very first article I did. He continues to elevate his game more and more. There is no ceiling too high for this young phenom to reach. Early offers are only further validation Jacari is a rare talent that comes through once every few years but we could be seeing the early years of what could be one of the great ones when it's all said and done. The potential is there. This train is steadily picking up steam so y'all better get on board right now.
