Pelham HS, AL

Explosive off the line and electric in space, Jacob is a dynamic wide receiver who thrives in chaos and shines when the spotlight hits. He’s not just quick—he’s surgical. His crafty footwork and field awareness give him the ability to dissect coverages before the ball is even snapped. With a motor that never cools and a will that refuses to bend, Jacob doesn’t just play fast—he plays fierce. Defensive backs learn quickly that trying to outlast him is a losing battle. He’s smooth in his breaks, efficient with his hands, and always a threat to blow the lid off a defense or punish it underneath. What separates him is his durability now, his nonstop effort, and the energy he brings every down—he simply doesn’t come off the field.

This past season, Jacob hauled in over 60 receptions for 500+ yards and 5 touchdowns, proving his reliability as a go-to target. But what truly marked his rise was his biggest improvement—staying healthy. After an injury-plagued freshman year, he came back with a fire, determined to show the world what he can do. That mindset has carried into 7v7, where he’s taking on bigger, stronger corners and sharpening his footwork and release packages with every rep. What fuels him? A relentless pursuit to finish a legacy that’s yet to be fulfilled. He studies coverages pre-snap, using the safety's position as a blueprint to carve through zones with deadly precision. He handles adversity with poise, using it as a stage to put his talent on full display. Off the field, Jacob finds peace in faith and believes that being humble and trusting God is key. The best advice he’s ever received—“Have a great attitude and max effort, or you’ll go nowhere”—is etched into how he approaches every rep, every practice, every game. Coaches can expect a player who gives everything he’s got, learns quickly, and brings consistency and efficiency in every phase of the game.

I assess that Jacob is a high-effort receiver with excellent field IQ, consistent production, and the stamina to stay involved every snap. He’s coachable, determined, and driven by something bigger than stats is a hunger to finish what others never started. His understanding of coverages and ability to find space in tight zones make him a threat at any level of the field. While he doesn't yet have offers, that’s not for a lack of potential. It’s only a matter of time.

Jacob can be a valuable asset to a college program looking for a reliable, high-energy receiver who understands spacing and delivers under pressure. His ability to separate with footwork and process defenses quickly gives him upside as a slot or outside option. With continued development, he has the potential to become a cornerstone in a collegiate offense. Especially one that values effort, efficiency, and relentless work ethic. Expect his name to rise with each rep he takes.
