Triston is a dynamic combo guard that is fast and athletic. As a triple-threat scoring option, Triston can bring the rain from behind the arc with a silky-smooth touch or explode off the bounce to attack the rim where he can get any shot he wants. Triston flexes his versatility by being a fierce defender.

Triston’s offensive skill set is a game-changer. His ability to score from deep, attack the basket, and create plays in tight spaces makes him a constant threat on the court. Whether it's nailing a pull-up three, finishing in traffic, or breaking down defenses with his quickness, Triston displays a scoring ability that’s tough to contain. On the defensive end, his speed and relentless energy translate into aggressive on-ball pressure, setting the tone for his team.

What fuels Triston’s fire is the electric feeling of hitting his first three-pointer in a game. “It boosts the team’s confidence and my own,” he says, highlighting his team-first mentality. He thrives in moments when the game’s intensity rises, using those sparks to ignite both his performance and his teammates’ energy.

Adversity doesn’t shake Triston; it motivates him. Triston admits he used to overthink his competition, letting the pressure weigh on him. Now, he embraces a simple yet powerful mindset: “Everyone’s human. Everyone makes mistakes and is just trying to play basketball.” This clarity allows him to focus on his game, shutting out distractions and playing with a calm, collected approach.

One of his most impactful lessons came from Corey Rosser, who told him, “It doesn’t matter the points, assists, or anything else. It’s only about how you win or lose the game—that’s what counts.” This advice has stayed with Triston, shaping how he approaches every game. He understands that stats are secondary to the ultimate goal: winning.

Triston’s 36-point performance in a rivalry game against Yale stands out as a career highlight. It wasn’t just the scoring—it was how he carried himself and elevated his team in a high-pressure moment. While his freshman team’s playoff eligibility was limited, games like that show what he’s capable of when the stakes are high.

Off the court, Triston enjoys fishing and golf, balancing the demands of basketball with hobbies that bring him focus and calm. Competing in fishing tournaments allows him to channel his competitive nature in a different way, adding to his versatility as both an athlete and a person.

Triston is likely to become one of Michigan’s most exciting prospects. His speed, ability to score at all levels, and defensive tenacity make him a player to watch closely. Triston's mental growth and focus on the game’s bigger picture reflect maturity beyond his years. Triston’s commitment to expanding his range and evolving his overall game suggests his best days are ahead. If he continues on this path, Triston could quickly rise as one of the state’s most dynamic guards, with the potential to make a big impact at the next level.
