Toby is an electric three-level scorer with a dynamic offensive skill set l that makes him a nightmare for defenders. Toby’s unlimited shooting range forces opponents to respect him beyond the arc, but he’s just as deadly attacking the lane. Toby is a fierce competitor; he gets low on drives, attacking a defender’s hip with precision, pairing it with crafty footwork and an elite touch around the rim. Whether creating off the dribble or finding his spots off-ball, he’s a constant threat to light up the scoreboard. Toby’s scoring ability is even better with his explosiveness in transition, where he thrives on energy, feeding off the crowd’s intensity. Toby mixed it well on the boards and can drop a nice dime.
This season, Toby is averaging 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists, while in the EYBL U20, he put up 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. Known as a clutch shot-maker, h Toby thrives in big moments and is unfazed by pressure. His most significant area of improvement has been his rebounding, where he’s become relentless on the glass, boxing out bigger players and actively chasing down boards. As he looks ahead to the next season, his primary focus is expanding his court vision and becoming more instinctual in reading the floor while also increasing his off-ball movement. His goal is to elevate his game in all mental and physical aspects by continuing to improve his game and finding the right program to maximize his potential.
What fuels Toby’s fire the most is the biggest matchups, especially against Northolt High School, where personal history adds fuel to his competitive drive. He thrives in the noise, whether it’s trash talk or a roaring home crowd, feeding off the game’s energy, especially after a highlight play. When adversity hits, Toby's maturity shines, and he stays composed, leading his team and trusting his preparation. Toby understands that momentum shifts, patience, and work ethic always pay off. The best advice Toby had received was to never fear mistakes, as every player has been benched at some point. Toby's dedication continues in the gym and weight room off the court, often training alongside his younger brother, pushing each other to improve. With unwavering belief in his game, Toby knows all he needs is the right opportunity, whether NCAA, NAIA, or another route, to prove himself at the next level.
I see that Toby’s ability to score at all three levels, combined with his explosiveness and confidence in clutch moments, makes him a high-value asset for a next-level team. Toby’s relentless scoring ability forces defenses to adjust, creating opportunities for himself and his teammates. With continued growth in his court vision and off-ball movement, he has the tools to thrive in a structured system. Toby's mental toughness, leadership, and willingness to embrace the game’s biggest moments will have a huge impact on any program looking for a fierce competitor with a dynamic offensive skill set.
