Arnold is a dynamic athlete that thrives most attacking the lane, getting in the gaps and making tough shots even over much larger defenders. He is crafty and creative as he slices his way through the defense and he is able to score at will. Arnold has a beautiful shot from three point land, but is also able to blow past a defender with his speed and handles. Add to that arsenal some seriously beautiful passes and being ferocious under the boards. However, he is actually known as a tenacious lockdown defender.

His team lost a tough game in the State Championship last year, and he is hungry to run it back. He has been working extremely hard to make sure that history doesn’t repeat itself. The kid may not be the biggest kid on the court, but he is simply a flat out DOG.

Playing AAU for both Big- Shots Atlantic Coast All Stars and Rocky Tip Off All – Stars, he averaged 13 points and 5 rebounds in the Slam Bracket. He had a 30 point, 7 rebounds and 2 steals in his very first game with a brand new group of teammates. He is ranked as one of the top players in WV for the class of 27, and his goal is to now get put on the National radar.

When asked what a coach can expect from him, he said “Pure hustle on both ends of the court which is more important than being a stat chaser.” His dream is to play at the next level, but he knows there is much work to be done at the high school level.

My assessment is this kid plays with a heart and passion that simply can't be taught. That is just who he is. He is fearless and there is no backing down in him. His ceiling is extremely high and as he continues to get stronger, he will only get better and better. He is confident, but not cocky. He has an intense work ethic and is beyond competitive. This is a show no one will want to miss. He isn’t already being named one of the best players in the state of WV for no reason.
