David is a super-aggressive guard who thrives in attacking the rim and is a fierce finisher. David is fast, shifty, and often gets a step on defenders. David can get to his spots and knock down 3s. He has a high IQ and great court vision. David delivers jaw-dropping passes. He also has a high non-stop motor who has a ton of energy to both ends of the court. Defensively he uses his speed and quick hands to cause all sorts of chaos. He is a defensive gem.
The most motivating thing that happened to David last season that pushed him forward was him being an undersized guard, getting overlooked, and disrespected. His goals for this season are to get better and win the conference and state championships.
Playing AAU for the Humble Gentz - David's goals were to develop his all-around game and get exposure. While focusing on improving his shooting from midrange.
What fuels David's fire the most is when he gets a defensive stop and then it leads to a bucket. When things aren't going David's way on the court he just keeps his head up and goes on to the " next play " mindset.
A coach can expect leadership from David. He is very coachable and willing to get better.
David sees himself going to D1 but understands that it's very hard to make it to D1 so he would consider a major D2 school.
I assess that David has a lot of dogs in him. He plays with a chip and an attitude it takes to silence doubters. His skills scream high-level talent. This young star will push all the limits proving how good he is and can be. Never doubt the heart of a warrior on a mission. I just say stay tuned!
